Before we get started let’s define what a Class C RV is.
Class C RVs pull together the best of a Class A motorhome with the best of a Class B motorhome to bring you an RV that is spacious yet is easier to drive for many of us than it is to drive a Class A. A Class C RV is more fuel-efficient than a Class A.
Though small they have all the amenities and features of their bigger Class A counterpart.
So which Class C brands do we think to make some of the best Class C RVs? Here are the brands and models we rave about.
Coachmen Leprechaun – Best Selling class c RV

When it comes to choosing our favorite of the best Class C RVs, we go straight to the bestselling Class C RV the Coachmen Leprechaun.
The Coachmen Leprechaun debuted back in 1973, so it has been around for quite a while. It’s available in 14 different floor plans and you can get it on either a Ford or Chevy chassis.
When it comes to features you’ll find the Coachmen has most if not all of what a Class V RV should have to make it a comfortable motorhome.
The exterior cage is constructed of 100% aluminum which makes it lightweight and allows for better insulation.

The sidewalls are made of Azdel a composite panel resistant to rot and delamination.
The Premier models have the CRV Comfort Ride which adds Bilstein front shocks, stability control, a dynamically balanced driveshaft system, and heavy-duty front and rear stabilizers.
All this adds up to superior handling, a plush luxury ride, it minimizes shudder and vibrations and adds rigidity, and reduces tilting while cornering.

Jayco Greyhawk – Best Class C RV for Full-Time Living
Manufacturer: Jayco | Floor Plans: 5 | Chassis: Ford E-450 | Exterior Length: 29′ 11″ – 32′ 6″ | Exterior Height: 11′ 8″ | Exterior Width: 8′ 4″
The Jayco Greyhawk is a very popular Class C RV and due to its versatile floor plans, many consider it an excellent Class C RV for full-time living.
The Greyhawk is built using the latest Jayco proprietary construction methods and materials. It uses StrongholdVBL for the roof, floor, and sidewalls, and it includes a one-piece. seamless, fiberglass front cap which totally eliminates seam leaks.
The 5 available floor plans are all very nice and allow for a variety of sleeping capacities and arrangements.

Thor Geneva – New From Thor
Manufacturer: Thor | Floor Plans: 5 | Chassis: Ford E-450 | Exterior Length: 24′ to 31″ | Exterior Height: Pending | Exterior Width: Pending
The Thor Geneva was introduced at the 2022 Tampa RV Supershow. At the time of this writing, the full specifications have not been released by Thor. Matt from Matt’s RV Reviews was able to review one of the floor plans.
Based on what I know so far I think this is going to become one of the best Class C RVs for lots of new owners.
Here I’ll summarize what we know so far about this model.
Thor Geneva 28V Walk-Through Video
In the video below Matt from Matt’s RV Reviews go over the Thor Geneva 28VA.
The Thor 28VA has a 7.3 Liter V8 riding on Hancock Dyna Pro and is the only model with a pull-out outdoor kitchen. It has lots of exterior storage, especially in the exterior rear. Overall a great new Class C motorhome offer at a very reasonable price.

As of the publishing of this article, Thor did not yet have information on their site about the Geneva Class C. Since it’s a new model we expect information on it in Q2 of 2022.
Thor also makes the Four Winds Class motor home. It’s also a very capable and well-featured RV.
Entegra Odyssey
Manufacturer: Entegra Coach | Floor Plans: 6 | Chassis: Ford E-450 | Exterior Length: 26′ 8″ to 32′ 6″ | Exterior Height: 11′ 8″ | Exterior Width: 100″
Entegra makes some of the best Class A motorhomes in the industry. They’ve taken all they know and have built the Entegra Odyssey. The Odyssey has many great features making it a great value for those looking for a luxurious Class C motorhome.
The Entegra Odyssey runs on a Ford E-450 chassis with a 7.3L V-8 engine. It can give you 350 HP with 468 ft-lb of torque.
Construction-wise it offers a one-piece fiberglass roof, vacuum-bonded laminated sidewalls, and floor. The front cab is a one-piece seamless, fiberglass front cab and a huge panoramic window with power shade.
Entegra Odyssey Video Walkthrough
The exterior includes frameless windows, aluminum running boards, an electric power awning with LED lights, an outside shower, solar power prep, and many more features.
Inside is where the Entegra Odyssey really shines with cab-over bunk with a 750 lbs capacity, bunk beds depending on the floor plan, recessed LED lighting, swivel driver and passenger seats, LED-lit pressed kitchen countertops, and a whole lot more.

Winnebago Spirit
Manufacturer: Winnebago | Floor Plans: 6 | Chassis: Ford E-350 / Ford E-450 | Exterior Length: 24′ 5″ to 32′ 9′ | Exterior Height: 10′ 11″ – 11′ | Exterior Width: 8′ 5.5″”
The Winnebago Spirit is a great family Class C with six available floor plans. All floor plans on the Spirit have the bedroom in the rear, and a cab-over bunk. The 31H has bunk beds and the 22M and 22R have a sofa/bed.
The Ford E-350 chassis delivers 350 hp with its 7.3L V8 engine. This is coupled with a TorqShift 6-speed automatic transmission.
The towing capacity on the Winnebago Spirit is 7,500 lbs though we recommend towing no more than 5,000 lbs.

The exterior of the Spirit comes with a premium high-gloss fiberglass skin, porch lights, running boards, and lots of trunk storage.
Inside the kitchen comes equipped with Corian countertops, a 3-burner range, stainless steel sink, and a double-door refrigerator. You’ll also find black-out roller shades, tinted windows, LED lighting, and much more.

Best Class C RVs Final Thoughts
When it comes to the best Class C RVs, the 5 I summarized above are just a few of the many available. These happen to be my favorite and get generally good to great reviews based on owner experience.
For those that find Class A motorhomes expensive or a bit intimidating to drive a Class C might be the perfect balance between price and driveability.
