Dual entry travel trailers have two doors usually one toward the front of the camper and one towards the rear. Depending on the floor plan you are either entering the living area or near the bedroom In the example below the front entry takes you right into the kitchen and living area whereas the rear entry takes you into a bathroom that also leads to the living area.
The benefit of travel trailers with two doors is the ability to access the bathroom (in the floor plan above) without having to walk through the rest of the RV. It helps keep people from tracking dirt or mud inside the trailer.

The Coachmen RV Spirit Ultra Lite is our third on the list of best dual entry travel trailers. This is the ideal camper for a large family. There is tons of storage in the bedroom on this model. The bed and the bed frame lift to create a walk-in storage center.

Lance Campers is one of my favorite brands and Lance 2285 is one of the reasons why. This camper is also a great family camper with comforts similar to what you’ll find at home. The floor plan of the Lance 2285 is fashioned after a residential home and includes a semi-private bedroom and two doors and entry and exit.
The slide-out provides additional living space and there is enough room to accommodate sleeping for six people. The panels are made of Azdel and block double foam insulation. The 2285 features interior LED lighting, a dry bath with a skylight, and an exterior wash station.

LEt’s face it, Northwood Manufacturing is not an RV manufacturer you hear much about. However, those who own them love them and are very dedicated to the brand and with good reason. For example, the dual entry Arctic Fox 25W is an awesome camper that includes the Northwood-built, independently certified Off-Road chassis.
The floor plan is well laid out with the master bedroom toward the front and the kitchen area towards the rear. The front entry door leads straight into the bedroom and the rear entry leads to the kitchen. There is plenty of space including a wardrobe closet on either side of the bed, overhead storage just above the bed, and in other areas of the camper.

Dual Entry Travel Trailers Summary

Being able to get in and out of the camper is a whole lot easier with dual doors. If you want to keep your spouse happy and give them privacy in the morning being able to enter and exit at the rear of the camper away from the master bedroom is a huge plus.
