Even though it is compact, it has a shower and toilet combo and other features that make it suitable for boondocking. Overall a nice lightweight travel trailer.
I could not find many used Basecamps for sale. Here is the one I did find.
- 2017 Basecamp 16 – $36,950
Airstream Nest (No Longer Manufactured)
The Airstream Nest is unlike any other Airstream travel trailer because it is a fiberglass model. To learn about Nest pricing and its features, check out this Nest article I wrote when it was first introduced.
Airstream Pricing Summary
Let’s get one thing out of the way. Airstream travel trailers are expensive. You are paying for brand recognition, features, and styling.
If you can afford an Airstream and are happy with how it is designed, then get a new or used one. I’ve been inside a few of them and can honestly say I was very impressed.
